This cruise to the Bahamas was delightful. I've cruised Carnival before but this was the best one yet. I noticed a BIG change in Carnival... the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was beautifully presented (although I wish there were more vegetarian offerings). And, the entertainment was better than before.

If JJ is on your cruise, then by all means attend his acoustic guitar performances. The cruise seemed to cater to more than just the party scene this time. I noticed a more diverse crowd in terms of age and ethnicity. A real joy!

I always do my own excursions and was not disappointed.... The weather was fantastic especially in light of a tropical storm threatening the Bahamas.... but luckily it didn't affect us.

We sailed out of Charleston.... what a city! Beautiful architecture, sea scape and Folly Beach is a must see.

Finally, I am grateful for the Serenity Deck on Carnival... a fantastic getaway from the hustle-bustle of the Lido Deck.

Bravo to Carnival... I will be back...

Go to the Serenity Deck if you want to escape the noise and activity on the Lido Deck.

Get to know the staff... they can make or break your experience....

Go watch the stars on the Lido deck late at night... and awaken early to catch the sunrise!
