We actually enjoyed this port the most, but arrived at 6 PM, leaving no time to really enjoy the port. Don't forget there was nothing available to do on the ship this day as well, it was a truly wasted day.. No we did not do an excursion.

We did not get off the ship in Victoria because we arrived about 7 pm & all aboard at 11 pm. We didn’t feel that was enough time to see the area (& it was dark for most of the time there)

Butchart Gardens even in 42 degree weather!

We were there for a very short time. Not enough time to explore

You must see the Gardens here! Literally breathtaking!

I had been to Victoria in 2016 and was glad it was included on our itinerary. I thought it was great to have a North American port of call enroute to Hawaii as many times once you leave the West Coast, that’s it until you arrive in Hawaii. I did a river gorge excursion that I found on my own, not through the cruise line. The guide made it very interesting since he was an older man that had lived in the area his whole life and he had some funny stories to share. It took about 90 minutes so I had plenty of time to walk around and explore on my own which I really enjoy. Victoria is a very walkable, and clean provincial capitol.

Victoria is not as neat and clean as years before. There are homeless on the main city streets.
