Travel tip: Avoid shuttle buses which charge approximately $10 per person. You can get a taxi for about $12 plus tip for four people. Walking into town is doable also...30 minute or so walk.

Victoria really supremely interesting the outlays of the area horsepower services accents though me off a bit but I rebound in American fashion ( you know I had to say that) Respect every one!

Time is ridiculous and way too short. We got off the ship at 9:00 and had to be back to our bus by 11:00. We spent well over $100.00 each to see the gardens at night for an hour. Stay on the ship its not worth getting off!

Loved Victoria! We went on a horse drawn trolley to tour the city. It was fun and very informative. The trolley isn't very comfortable to it may be difficult for those who can't sit in snug places for very long.

If your visit is for a full day (like with RC) id recommend Reef Kelp Kayaking tour. Great guide and saw loads of wildlife...especially seals up close in water! They are based at Fisherman's Wharf. One of our trip highlights.
