Victoria was beautiful. I was so excited to go on the hop on hop off bus excursion and see the sights and shops this town has to offer. But the Big Bus Victoria was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! The bus was very old, smelled of gasoline, and the seats were so narrow and constricted that I couldn't sit straight. It lunged forward at every corner and stop which made sitting in the narrow, uncomfortable seats unbearable. After just a few stops I exited the bus and walked back to the ship. I had such hopes of exploring Victoria aboard that bus! But that hope quickly ended when the bus ride was so uncomfortable!

The boat was late because of Canadian Customs and my shore excursion was late. Victoria is not bad at night but wished I could see it with more daylight.

Worst city I've been to. Cab cost 10 dollars. The change from a 20 was 10 Canadian. Went to a store and purchased 51 cad worth of items and was charged 47 american, should of been 36 ish. Use credit cards so you get correct rate.

We wish that we had gotten to stay a bit longer we only had time to do a bus tour then walk quickly around town catch a cab then right back to the ship for it to sail away.

It was a good walk to Chinatown but still rundown from norovirus, hard to enjoy.

This port was okay. Got there late and only stayed a few hours. Think $15 shuttle ride per person is kind of steep.

It was great and everything went well. LONG walk back to the ship but totally worth it if you like the weather - clean fresh air. I only gave it three stars because the average rating of the trip makes this a BIG part of how they calculate the average - bad business!

Nice city but our ship arrived late so we only spent a couple of hours there.

No, not enough time to do anything meaningful. If there is one recommendation for improvement I would make is to ensure more time in Victoria. Wanted to spend more time at the Gardens than was allowed and really missed not being able to have high tea at the Empress. Two previous Alaskan cruises we took allowed us to do that, but docking at 5:30 doesn't give you that opportunity
