San Diego is a fantastic cruise ship town. Lots to do right around the terminal: Maritime Museum, USS Midway, Seaport Village. Parking was super easy at Park N Fly with a shuttle right to the cruise ship.

We stayed across the street which was great to walk right over to the ship.

The tour of the town by trolley was interesting and well worth it. It’s a great over view of what is there. The zoo was amazing.

Went on a Harbor Cruise. Distance from the ship was far greater than indicated. Didn't take the scooter because the excursion boat disallowed.

Went to the beach, walked around town, went to Balboa Park, which was beautiful! It's very large, we were in the section with the Botanical Garden! We had a friend who lives in San Diego showing us around.
