Review summary
The cruise was rather disappointing because we lost a port because the ship broke. I fell twice on one excursion, my husband got sick on the last day. It just didn’t turn out as planned. It also rained for the 2 days we were stuck in San Diego for the repair. The port was canceled and excursions were canceled for the port we did go too. It was a comedy of errors. Oh wellEmbarkation
We had to wait a long time to board after we checked in. There is a big waiting area but I’ve never had to wait like that before on any cruise line.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
The food was very good in all food venues. But the buffet has to be served instead of self serve and it took forever to get your food.
Onboard Activities
We bought the spa package for couples and it was very relaxing but cost way more than it was worth.
Entertainment
The production show was the best I’d ever seen on the first night. But the second one was boring. The other shows were fun and entertaining. The Lincoln Center Stage was amazing but needed a bigger room to hold all the people. They were the best. The clubs were very good too
Service and Staff
Nice but forgot to set room at night once. The muster was very unorganized and passengers were confused. But so was the staff.
Ship Quality
Ship is small but I like small ships. Very fast to get from one end to the other. It was easy to get around.
Cabin / Stateroom
It was a good size room. I thought the tub was interesting but if you were older and had problems moving you could never get in it easily.
Ship tip
Ask for help if you need it. And go see the production show it’s amazing. And so is the Lincoln Center Stage

Ports of call
The tour of the town by trolley was interesting and well worth it. It’s a great over view of what is there. The zoo was amazing.
The original tour was canceled because we got there too late and there want anything comparable to it. The tour we took was a little disappointing. No whale watch available later in the day.
Mazatlan, Mexico Did not visit port
The ship broke down And we had to stay in San Diego an extra day to fix the ship. So they dropped this port. It was really disappointing.
We did the camel ride and we loved it. The food was great and we saw whales while we sat outside and ate lunch. This is a great excursion. Our favorite on the cruise.
