We took the Casino tour which was really interesting and fun. We ate at Maggie's Blue Rose and the food was very, very good!

Small island but it had several things to do. We didn't book a formal excursion through the cruise line so when we got off the ship we didn't have any plans. We ended up taking a tour of the island with a tram service and then wandering the town. The tour was great and only took maybe an hour. We learned a lot and saw most of the main spots of the island but we had the most fun exploring the town on our own. Shopping, stopping for a few drinks and even finding a place we could "duck pin" Bowl (which was a highlight) made Catalina Island a great stop!

Amazing! The views are absolutely breathtaking. We did not do an excursion here. We rented a golf cart, drove around Avalon, stopped at the botanical gardens, did a little shopping, and had an amazing day!

Cute island. Pretty views. The houses were old and dated. I expected more luxurious houses than that. The boardwalk or esplanade was the best part. Not enough time to really enjoy anything.
