Review summary

After the cruise we decided to stay more days in CA and visit the theme parks. At the parks, while we were patiently waiting in line...my children kept talking about the cruise! They talked about the food, the shows they watched, ports, etc! While in line, they all wished they were on the ship! I am glad we did this cruise and hopefully we can do another one soon and forget the parks! LOL

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was an easy embarkation, especially traveling with teens.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Most of the time, we enjoyed eating at the buffets and it provided plenty of food choices.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Unfortunately due to the cold weather (June) my children were not able to spend time in the pool as desired. On the other hand, they enjoyed the mini-golf and the late night shows. I wish there could be more variety of activities for unpredictable weather. I would suggest a craft suitable for all ages, new released movies (movies were old, except for Aquaman), Youth/Children's Yoga/Zumba class...

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Everything was spectacular! We, as a family, enjoyed the Epic Rock Show Performers (last show was the BEST). They were very professional at all times! Benjamin set the tone for the day/night and we all enjoyed his positive energy! I would have loved seeing him in more formal attire, but that's just me. I am all about presentation and setting role models for the kids, they are always watching! We loved the family comedy shows, especially Doug! I liked his positive message to the kids and mentioning respect throughout his performance. My children are still talking about him! Please do not take these shows away. It was neat to have a first experience attending a comedian show together! The price for the childrens' drinks could be more affordable during the famiky shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly! Apollo, our steward, was very fast and efficient on our requests which were few by the way. Overall, everyone was very respectful. I also want to mention the photographers, they are excellent and patient. There was a girl from Colombia, who was really nice!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes, all the time!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It is just not spacious, too small.

Ship tip

Get to know the ship and plan activities ahead to get the best experience. Get to know the ship, walk the ship and ask questions!

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
We did not do an excursion but getting there was frustrating (no signals). Even for the parking, there are no signs for long term parking.

Catalina Island, California

5 out of 5
We enjoyed renting golf carts, walking around and being there enjoying the view!

Ensenada, Mexico

4 out of 5
We went to La Bufadora and the time at the port is limited. It'd be nice if it could be a full day in order to enjoy eating and shopping there!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy! I really liked the system! If you have your group together and follow steps, there should be no problem.

Traveler Photos

Are we in Vegas?! Excellent performance! Always bring your sunshine with you and make waves!
