We stayed an extra night after our cruise and explored the city. We did an inexpensive Hotwire hotel in the French Quarter and it was great!!

Perfect timing. We had the chance to get the beginning of Mardi Gras. Great time. The city did a great job in making sure we felt safe but had fun.
