Carnival throws the BEST NYE party! See you soon!!
Embarkation

It was great! Our Uber driver dropped us right at the door. We were directed to what I thought was a “VIP/FTTF” line, even though we didn’t have either. They still let us through and we were on in about 5 min!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Honestly, I have a really hard time finding food that I don’t like when I’m on a cruise. We love Guys burgers, the Blue Iguana and the pizza was awesome. Eat the pizza right away though for the best crunchy crust. We enjoyed all our meals in the MDR. Some might complain that the service is slow, but to us, dinner in the MDR is an experience. It is our time to enjoy each other and have actual conversation. If you want food faster, eat at the buffet.
Onboard Activities

The lido deck is always a fun time but get up early for a good spot. There are plenty of places to lounge but if you want by the pool, grab a coffee, watch the sunrise and secure a chair. We had a great time at all the activities we attended. Cookie is an amazing CD. He was really great at getting people involved. And Michelle! Oh my, she was really great. She does the bingo, karaoke and a few of the events around the ship. If you like to workout, the gym was well stocked and very busy
The best was the NYE party!! So much fun!!
Entertainment

The DJ’s on the Lido were great! Especially the steel drums!
Cookie is a great CD! He was so funny and really got people engaged in the events.
The comedian was ok. We went to the under 18 show. I heard he was funnier at the adult show.
The Motown Review (I think that’s what it was called) wasn’t what we expected. They just sat on bar stools and sang. 6 of the 13 of us actually fell asleep. The other shows that required audience participation were hilarious
Service and Staff

We found the staff to be great! They work their tails off.
Ship Quality

The ship was clean and we constantly saw the crew cleaning. The layout was good too. I guess my only complaint was that they had the picture stations lined up down the hall along the casino. It smelled that cigarettes and the hallway got really crowded during formal nights.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We cruise with our kids so we split the bottom bed into two twins. It gives us so much more space to move around. The biggest issue was only 1 plug outlet. We forgot our power strip :(
With 4 people that used their phones for photos it was tough to get everyone charged for the next day. We did find that behind the TV, the panel comes away and there were a few extra outlets behind it.
Our bathroom shower didn’t drain the greatest either but it wasn’t a big deal.
Ship tip
You GET to be on vacation! So many don’t, so relax and enjoy. Go with the flow and roll with it.
We took a bus to Doctors Cave Beach. The beach was ok but very busy. The service was really slow but I’m sure it was because of the amount of people there. There were a lot of drug deals happening right in front of us so it made my kids a little uncomfortable. I’d probably think twice before going there again.
Wow! We loved this port! We did the Sensational Stingray excursion and it was awesome!! We got back to the port with plenty of time to take a City Bus to 7 Mile Beach and finish out our day there. Absolutely beautiful!
We did the Deluxe Catamaran, snorkel and beach excursion with Fury. It was our second time going on this excursion and it was just as fun as the first! Great time!!
