You either like N.O. or not. My wife likes the French Quarter, but I care nothing for it. Too many people with their hands out wanting money. We had GPS, but without it, almost impossible to find main routes. Very poorly marked with route signs.

Our favorite thing to do here was to park our car in the terminal's parking garage.

Disembarkation was a nightmare. Hope they have improved or New Orleans will get a bad rap. I have disembarked many times in N.O.and because of the "security process" was a joke. Should have never happened.

Couldn't find any other way to make a post! Can anyone chime in with information about nearby hotels with parking included? Or where you like to park while in this port? I saw a few recommendations but I lost the post :(
