Very good "just getaway" cruise

Sail Date: December 13, 2014

Room Type: Oceanview

Everything went prefect.   Stayed at Hilton at Riverwalk, parked car there during cruise, and walked to cruise ship for check in  and leaving. We hit the weather just right.   Ship crew, meals, and overall everything was great.   Very nice beach day at Cococay.  Very relaxing and well planned.

Ship Quality
Very nice ship and crew.
Food and Dining
Very concerned about passenger satisfied with food. All was great. Homemade pizza!
Cabin / Stateroom
Normally have balcony, but with window, we didn't miss the balcony. Weather was still cool. Cabing large enough to absorb all our stuff and hide luggage under bed
Service and Staff
Did not care for all the entertainment, but we never do anyway. Plenty of other things going on.
Children's Programs
No kids with us
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
No pressure, just a relaxing cruise.
New Orleans, Louisiana
You either like N.O. or not. My wife likes the French Quarter, but I care nothing for it. Too many people with their hands out wanting money. We had GPS, but without it, almost impossible to find main routes. Very poorly marked with route signs.
Key West, Florida
Visit not long enough. Will have to go back
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Very relaxing, plenty of chairs, food. Well thought out.
Nassau, Bahamas
Very nice beaches, but very heavy traffic in Nassau. We paid for a tour of Nassau after getting off the ship. Did not book before

If you have "my time" dining, schedule your dining time before your cruise. MY TIME does not work after you board. You have to take what times are left over. My time dining did not work on this cruise nor did it work on our last cruise earlier in 2014.
