New Orleans is a unique fun port. The terminal needs some updating, it was awkward to drop off luggage on a side street, then hobble over a pot holed road with no side walks across railroad tracks to the terminal building - but it was smooth check-in from there.

This terminal was very nice. The covered parking was greatly appreciated as compared to my cruise out of Galveston where I had to park in the sun for several days.. I found the New Orleans terminal was also easy to navigate and was organized well.

I used to live in Nola so I live the city. If you are into history don’t miss the WW2 museum.

Alright best place to stay to get to the port but still able to do sight seeing it will be my husband's first time in New Orleans..??. And also best sights to see we will be there 3 days and 2 nights before our cruise.
