Loved New orleans! Played at Harrah's casino. They have free drinks while playing! Walked bourbon st. (Refused to pay 12+drink prices though) we stayed at AC marriot hotel on Carondelet st.

Fun city! We did the Hop On Hop Off Red Bus tour which provided a great overview of the city. We also did the cemetery tour and Lafitte's Swam Tour which was really fun. Brunch at Brennan's was to die for! Acme for oysters, The Gumbo Shop for the best gumbo, and definitely Cafe Dumonde for Beignets!

This is where we embark and disembark. As it is just a three hour drive with a short break from my house, we just drive down the morning of to embark. The embarkation and disembarkation has always been pretty quick and easy.

Stayed at Harrahs before and after our last cruise and will be doing the same in March. It’s a great hotel and location to everything. The best part is our rooms were comped because we have a Harrahs card. Anyone that has a card should check the prices even if you don’t gamble much. You may get free or reduced rates. They also include sister properties like the Hilton and Marriott. Last time Harrahs was $500 for a Saturday night so I booked the Hilton Riverside for $60. Then before our trip Harrahs called me and asked if I wanted to move to Harrahs for the same price so of course I took the offer 😃
