We arrived to Sunday, everything was closed. We went on a train tour for 1.5 hours which was fun for the kids to explore the city. It’s a beautiful city. We enjoyed our day at port.

It was very dirty with lots of graffiti and the streets were very narrow. We did a Chou Chou train trip and it was OK but we didn't like the people at takeaways they charge a lot and not very friendly.

It would’ve been much better for the weather as it was raining for us, but what really disappointed me was when we were getting a drink at the cafe and the staff tried to give me the wrong change. But either then that it was a nice place

We did a hop on hop off bus through Royal Caribbean. The best stop was the aquarium by far. It was also a public holiday in Noumea so some places were not open. Found Noumea to be very expensive. Take it or leave it.

Was good to look around and the shop workers and people were helpful. Might visit again but would stay at a resort perhaps. Prefer Hawaiian islands.
