Review summary

Fifth RC Cruise and first Quantum class. Was a great experience and now I need to do an Oasis class cruise ! The ship, crew and facilities were all great. We will definitely stay Loyal to Royal 😍

All Dining venues provided varied menus with many options to satisfy even the most finicky eaters.

Chic

The service provided was exemplary. Attention to detail was faultless from the table settings to the dessert No requests were denied and several options were provided for one of our party whose health issues presented some problems with some meals. The Chic staff were Fabulous.

Onboard Activities

The weather was warm & sunny for all but one day. We found the pools were quite over crowded so we didn’t use them. One evening there was one spa pool empty so we tried it and found it to be really great.

Royal Esplanade

Some of the shops seemed to be aiming at only the top end of the market. On other vessels the range of merchandise was much more affordable. I did not see a single person in the Cartier shop on any of the days or nights I was on board. The lack of Guess merchandise was very disappointing too as I always replace my hand bag collection when I cruise on RC ships virtually every two years.

Fabulous stage shows. The Australian Beatles were great - watched them twice.

Presentation of the Royal Story was fantastic. Really enjoyed all the info, video’s and photo’s. The story was entertaining as well as informative. If it is available in a book - I want one!

I reach Diamond during the last leg,so it will not come into use until our cruise in Aug,of which comes with the Drinks package,however I have got there,so no worries,happy Cruising xxx

Thank you for your posting,so pleased you had a wonderful time,I am on the Ovation for 27 nights in March ,I am stopping in a large Virtual Balcony Room,the tension is building.I need a Walking Stick to help me walk,do you think I will encounter many problems,happy cruising,I will be turning Diamond after this experience xxxxx

We just debarked the Allure on the 21st. We had a wonderful experience! Don’t hesitate to try an Oasis class ship! We’re booked on the Ovation for an 11 night Alaska cruise, and we can’t wait to try out the Quantum class!
