There wasn’t much to do. We took the Hop on Hop off for AUD 15 and you can basically see everything within a few hours. We went to the aquarium, took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to go around. There are some lovely food places by Lemon Bay and also by the mall near the port if you’re looking for places to eat. However, because Vila, Vanuatu was cancelled, we had to dock twice here and I could do without the second day!

Not overly impressed As a South Pacific island it’s good to look at but we found the people detracted from the experience just by their rudeness Getting from the port to the city centre was a bit of a pain but there were some good things to see

Too hot and sticky to stay ashore for any length of time. Stung at the supermarket for Jar of coffee. Were happy for us to pay the $25 AU and give us change in FPF ..

Free WiFi in the terminal! Also shops, Within walking distance is a nice park (Place des Cocotiers), statues, sculptures, a cathedral, and stores. There is a supermarket/general store near the pier. The blue-roofed "City Market" buildings were not open for business.
