Review summary

Our first and last cruise. If you find things you don't like or if the weather is rough you have no where to go. An outbreak of influenca A made it a trip to remember for a week after we returned home.

Long line up.3500 people trying to get on the boat at the same time.

Speciality restuarants were very good. The Windjammer buffet was like the old Coles cafeteria, very noisy and over crowded.

Not a lot of use due to rough weather.

The SA Dance Crew were exellent. The illusionist managed to make himself disappear ( only one show ).

Have patience, you'll need them. Long line ups. Allow at least a week once home, to recover from illness.

Hop on, hop off bus was OK. Most buildings old and need an update. A bit like the Gold Coast 50 years ago. Very cheap grog.

Nowhere to go on a ship this size? Sounds definitely like a first time cruiser statement. We use the MDR at every opportunity instead of the Windjammer.

Poor form. Any holiday can be great if you make the most of what you find. Rough weather is part of the charm of being at sea.

That can also happen on all inclusive vacations and also road trips. Not the fault of the ship. Cruising is not for everyone. Better luck on your next adventure.
