My least favourite of NZ. I liked the old buildings and walking to look at them. The cable car museum and gardens are nice to go on and look around, but not much else...

War memorial is a great place to visit. The memorials are really well designed and show a great deal of thought was put into its creation. Cable car was overcrowded and not a great experience. Give me the San Francisco version any day.

Did a panaroma excursion that included the Botanical Garden and lookout. We had a fantastic and knowledgeable guide, very entertaining and really enjoyed it
