Review summary

Overall it was an enjoyable cruise. Didn't like that everything was in US dollars and our AU dollar was so bad that what seemed good ended up costing so much more. Some of the food was blah and the coffee was awful. Learnt to ask for English bacon.

Cabin / Stateroom

So pretty and green. Didn't book an excursion and when looked for something to do there, everything was booked out so just went back to the ship

Did a panaroma excursion and travelled by bus around the surrounding areas, great guide and very enjoyable

Wellington, New Zealand

5 out of 5
Did a panaroma excursion that included the Botanical Garden and lookout. We had a fantastic and knowledgeable guide, very entertaining and really enjoyed it

Port Chalmers (Dunedin), New Zealand Did not visit port

Due to not getting to the port until 11an and leaving 4.30pm, half hour bus ride to and from Dunedin, it was overcast and drizzled with rain, being the 1st of January with not many shops open, we decided to stay on board

Cruise Dusky Sound

5 out of 5
Cruised the sound on the ship and it was beautiful, there were some waterfalls

Cruise Doubtful Sound

The only real issues we had were that the vegetarian options in the main dining were very limited. Usually vegetarian pie or a curry. Plus the queues for children's activities in the seaplex were horrendous. Otherwise the ship and crew were great.
