The opera house tour was special because the Symphony Orchestra was rehearsing and we got to hear a few minutes of it. Being classical music fans, my wife and I thought it was our absolute highlight of visiting Sydney. Of course, there was lots to see here and do. We also took a tour and a cruise in the harbor. We need to go back, even though we had 2 days here.

I live here so it was just coming home although Sydney is a lovely city. Loved seeing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge coming back home early in the morning.

We live in Sydney so this was just our Embarkation and Disembarkation point. I do think it's one of the prettiest Ports and easy to get around compared to numerous others we've been to around the world.

We signed up night before to do the walking tour excursion. Again, a great guide. She was knowledgeable, considerate of providing bathroom breaks with nice facilities, tried to keep us in shade as much as possible, took us to interesting sites and shared information about The Rocks and other things we might do in or near Sydney and how to do them. It was worthwhile and worth the $20 each.

We visited this port on our own using a hop-on/hop-off bus. We did not a lot ourselves enough time to properly visit Sydney but we had a nice overview. We did fit in an opera at the Sydney Opera House.
