Small town and swimming in the ocean iffy Nov-May because of jellyfish. Tours to the Barrier Reef pricey and rough seas can be a problem.

Airlie Beach was a fantastic place to get off and have a look around there was a market when we get off and we were able to ride on the camel's that were at the beach. 😀😁

Lovely place but spoiled by having to wait in a massive queue after a nice day out, this is due to the ships size or being able to dock in many piers of call resulting in long waiting times for tenders

We did the outer Reef adventure. It's a long day but very worth it. The excursion was booked through the ship through Cruise Whitsundays. We were incredibly well looked after and lunch on the boat was well above our expectations.

We snorkeled at the shipwrecks with the hand held scooters. Lots of fun.
