Unless you are going on a penguin or wildlife excursion, the town itself is kind of rough and we had to be shuttled into town as we docked at a industrial pier.

Making us walk that long pier was another ridiculous idea. I can walk and I thought it was too difficult with the wind we had that day. We could have skipped this port , not much to do.

We don't question the need for safety, but it was our only excursion to see penguins and we missed it.

The town itself is nothing special, though we enjoyed the historical museum. We felt safe in our walks around the center, and the port facilities were well organized to host the ship.
