We took the ship excursion to Antigua and got a tour guide to take us around the town. It was a fascinating town and good shopping.

Went on a tour inland to the big lake by bus. Then across lake by boat for lunch (excellent). Long day. 7 hours travelling. Hour late getting back to ship so sailing had to be delayed waiting for us. Vendors are relentless trying to get you to buy their wares.

U less you take an all day excursion, there isn’t anything around this port except going to the “cruise ship terminal” which is generous. It’s an outdoor trinket shop that sells beer for $5 US and cokes for $1. It was very humid that day so we came ashore just to buy postcards then back to the ship for some pool time.
