We booked a private tour with lucky tours with Stephen. It was highlight of the trip. We did a coastal drive and a boat canal tour when we seen so many amazing animals and birds.

Again, had researched and knew the price of taxis to pay to visit Playa Bonita. Went up the street to the grocery store and got a taxi for $13 for two round trip. Right by the ship they said $10 per person each way. Quite a difference. Playa Bonita is a nice beach for a swim. Nobody tried selling us anything, which was a nice change.

Once again a bit run down but got a taxi to a beach for about 4 hours. Was lovely Time. Touching in the waves. Taxi was ok even though 10 dollars per person to go to beach 10 mins away. 5 dollars on way back.

The port was clean and well laid out. Tour guide, Jesus ,and driver Eugenio, were wonderful. When confronted with a crowded venues they adjusted things and took us to different locations with lots of wildlife and a brief run to Puerto Viejo, which I've been reading about for years....great time!

This was our 1st time to Costa Rica and we did the Veragua Rainforest Tram & Trails excursion and it was absolutely beautiful! You got to see the beautiful greenery of the rainforest along with a waterfall. Also you got to try some fresh local fruits and did try a local brew!
