Cabin / Stateroom
1 out of 5
The size is about 140 sq feet. Scuffed up OakWood furniture. The rug looked worn out. 1 outlet with 2 plugs the hair dryer kept falling everytime we used the outlet. I could’ve accepted all of that but the worst was the nauseating sewage smell from the bathroom almost everyday. There was back up coming from the shower drain. Which we reported numerous times.
Ship tip
Book a balcony or higher class stateroom above the 6th floor. Everyone beside us complained about the smell.
Watching the ship go through the old canal was impressive. Rising from each lock. We booked an excursions so we can disembark at the canal to see the new locks. For $80pp they take you to the lookout for 2hours then back to ship at cristobal. Overpriced.
The ship outside the cabin was great. The food was good. The 3 shows were fantastic. The comedian was good too. The activities were fun and entertaining. I really wanted to give all 5 stars but so upset because of the cabin stench with no resolution.
Seriously all they needed to do is fix or change room. The vessel wasn’t packed. I wanted to burn my clothes in the end.
You can see all the Panama Canal from the ship it was great.
