We did the excursion of the sloth and jaguar rescue center. While it was very interesting, the animals were not there. They had a few baby monkeys and a few cats. The jungle was a little more interesting. We got to see them in the wild. The lunch was served too late. We should had eaten before we went to the jungle not after. We had lunch at 3 which was very good. But way too late.

We did the historic banana train ride and it was miserable. All we saw were a few banana plants and the rain forest. I knew it was a old train but it was a rough 2hr ride and really saw nothing interesting, if we would've known we definitely wouldn't have booked this excursion.

Limon, Costa Rica and the Grand Caymans. So close yet so very different. My recommendation is do not get off the ship at Limon unless you have a tour booked. After exiting the ship you walk to a covered vendor section, with the usual tourist t-shirts and stuff that leads to a gate to the outside world. I peered through the gate, turned around, and walked back to the ship. I hear that the pacific side of Costa Rica is great. Not sure what happened to the Atlantic side.
