We did a private all day tour including a zip line. This was the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The city was clean, the people friendly. The rainforest we zip lined through was amazing and beautiful, the vegetation was fabulous.

Be sure to check out the rainforest while here. There are several different options, but I would recommend ensuring that you get to the other side of Costa Rica (out of Limon) to see the sights. Limon itself has little to nothing to offer, so be sure to sign up for a tour or excursion when docked here.

The NCL shore excursion to the chocolate factory was a bust- just a stop at a forest to see trees and shrubs, and a small demonstration to see fudge made by natives.

SHOPPING WAS NON-EXISTANT. SHOPS WERE VERY RUN DOWN AND SEEDY. A GOOD PORT SHOULD HAVE A BALANCE BETWEEN QUALITY SHOPPING, AND QUALITY SHORE EXCURSIONS. THIS PORT DID NOT HAVE THAT BALANCE. WASTE OF TIME!

Very poor, but interesting. We went on the Off Road Adventure. Quite an interesting experience. Would recommend to anyone for a view at unspoiled nature. There is no quality shopping at this port
