Loved seeing sloths and howler monkeys! Would have loved to zipline but it was pricey for us so instead we did a bus ride, walk in the rain forest and boat ride on the canal. Loved every minute of it!

We hired a taxi for several hours and went to the canals at Tortuguero and Mas X Menos (grocery store) to buy coffee and Lizano Salsa.

we hired our own bus and really got to see the areas other than tourist traps. We visted the banana & pinapple locations. Took some fantastic pictures.

We took the bus tour to San Jose, which was fascinating in itself but also took us out of the rain forest into the sun and we had lunch at a very lovely restaurant
