Review summary

This was our first cruise and I was impressed with just about everything. The ship was always clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
This was the only area I was a little disapointed with. Maybe I was expecting a little much but all I ever heard about crusing was how good the food was. It was good but nothing special. If you wanted anything after 6:00pm the choise was just pasta, piza or sushi unless you get room service. Kinda was like eating at Dennys but the hours were not as good.

Entertainment

Things seemed a little weak but I did not come on the cruise for the shows.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

The ship docked at the International Pier which is about three miles from the main part of town. There are a lot of shops here but if you want to go into town the taxi is $6 each way

Colon, Panama

3 out of 5
Not much here except the shops at the pier unless you take a shore excurion to the canal

Cartagena, Colombia

3 out of 5
The old town area is an interesting place but be prepared to be constantly hounded to buy just about everything under the sun by the locals. They are willing to deal though

George Town, Grand Cayman

Not much time here. The ship anchored in Spot Bay which is on the other side of the island from the main pier. Spent a lot of time in a cab ($5 per person each way) going into town and then back out to the ship. There were four ships there so it was very crowded and congested. Do not expect to save any money here because it is very expensive
Don't Miss: Dive or snorkel

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

5 out of 5
A neat little place. There are many shops that you can walk to from the ship if you do not want to take a shore excurison

Pros: Just about everything

Cons: I was a little disapointed with the food
