The cost of this tour was outrageous. It was only the lovely personality of our tour guide that made it worth anyting at all. We saw little and much of it was not overly interesting,

We took the tour in Puerto Limon the tortuguero Canal. Total waste of money. First we had to wait from 12.15 to 12.50 before leaving the ship. Then 20 min bus drive to the canal . In a little boat we looked for animals. We saw a few birds and one lizzard and at the end got some fruit and back to the ship. A lot of lost time ....

This is a port where you should do an excursion. The city is not set up for tourists. There is a lot to do within a 1-2 hour drive, though. We visited a sugar plantation, and it was delightful!

This was pretty nice. We did go down the coastline and it was absolutely beautiful. I love the water and it was absolutely gorgeous. We did not eat in any restaurants because some of our group said you are not safe eating there,

12 inches of rain, all tours cancelled. The ship's captain knew this and didn't take us out to sea or somewhere else. Oh yea that's right, it's Carnival's rules.
