Review summary

CHECK IN WAS GREAT WITH THE ADVANCE CHECK IN ON LINE, WE BREEZED RIGHT THROUGH. IF YOU ARE USED TO CRUISING THE CARRIBEAN ISLANDS YOU WILL BE A BIT SHOCKED AT THE POVERTY AT ALL THREE PORTS. HOWEVER, WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED BY THE HISTORY OF THE AREAS WE VISITED AND THE BEAUTY OF THE RAINFOREST. FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT WAS THE USUAL BEST ON THE LIBERTY. ALL IN ALL A GREAT CRUISE

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

DID THE MAYAN RUINS TOUR WITH IVAN. VERY WORTHWHILE. HAD TIME TO SNORKEL ALSO, WHICH WAS FUN BUT NOT AS GOOD AS WHAT YOU SEE IN COZUMEL. YOU CAN FIND A BOAT IN TOWN FOR ABOUT $12 A PIECE FOR ONE HOUR OF SNORKELING.

Colon, Panama

WE WERE TRANSPORTED BY CANOE TO A IBERIAN INDIAN VILAGE, WHICH SEEMED UNIQUE AND AUTHENTIC. VERY COOL. WE WERE ALSO SUPPOSED TO SEE THE PANAMA CANAL, BUT HAD LIMITED TIME THERE.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

DID THE ZIPLINING, DON'T MISS IT. ALSO TOURED A BANANA PLANTATION.

Pros: INTERESTING PORTS

Cons: LIKED EVERYTHING
