Took a tour through the cruise line, really that's the only way to do it. Because the times entering the Panama Canal vary. Tour was well managed, we got to See a movie on the making of the canal and also took a bus tour through the surrounding city.

The Panama Canal was very interesting but spent too much time just sitting in lake tendering guests that were going on tours.

Going through the Panama Canal was great, but there was no cruising of the lake, which was a great disappointment.

Going thru the canal was a major thrill. We didn't get off the ship there, wanted to watch the workings of the locks
