Very expensive miserable non airconditioned sitting in those killer plastic chairs on the boat tour to go through locks, It was interesting but there is no reason they could not have fans or a deck that was airconditioned with some real chairs. Plastic and 100 degrees with 100% humidity sitting on platic is miserable.

Did a Kayak tour at Gutan. Guide was terrible, he never looked back to make sure the group was ok, there was a few inexperienced folks and he didn't take the time to teach. My husband and I had to show people how to paddle. The guide didn't show or teach us anything about the area.

Did the "Eco tour and Gatun Locks" Got an upclose look at ships going through the locks of the Panama Canal. DONT MISS SEEING THIS!! The rest of the tour was a boat trip on the lake. Very nice. Saw monkeys and sloths and all of the flora!

This Island was very dirty, trash everywhere, the people were not clean. The Island could use some cleaning up before bring people to visit. Also they had a fair which they did not open until the ship was scheduled to leave. Foolish o n the Islands part, they could have made money from the people visiting the Island.

Needs more activities to appeal to visitors. Did not do any excursions at this port. Perhaps a scooter adventure to see the countryside.

The port area not great. Did the excursion up river to see the Embera Indians and it was amazing just a very long bus ride. The Panama locks was so amazing and a great learning experience.

I enjoyed the trip to and from the Panama Canal as well as the visit to the old port/fortress. an interesting historical site in both instances.
