Great Experience

Sail Date: April 14, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The LIberty is big and glitzy. The room was more comfortable than on any ship I have been on with other lines. It was clean and well run., They continually prevent against Noro Virus with education and guards for the bathroom door handles. The entertainement was plentiful and the dancers and singers were fabulous. You didn't have to wait long for an elevator.

Pros: The entertainment was excellent, the room was large by cruise standards, bed comfortable.

Cons: The food was average compared to Royal Caribbean

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Food and Dining
Dining rooms are beautiful, shows and jokes in the diining room every night. For the most part the food was average. Harry's Supper Club was no where near the quality of the alternative dining on RCL
Ship Quality
A little diffiucult to get used the layout as you cannot go from one end of the ship to the other on Decks 3 and 4 due to the dining rooms
Cabin / Stateroom
big, comfortable and the bed was heavenly
Service and Staff
The dining room staff and room stewards did a beautiful job
Entertainment
The shows were exciting, the sets and costumes beautiful and professional, Other enteratinment was very carnival like, party party party
Children's Programs
Club 02 was great fun for my young teenagers
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Shopping is a big ripoff but the ruins were well worth the trip
Don't Miss: Mayan Ruins
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
Loved it! The people are warm and friendly, It is gorgeous, the rainforest is fascinating, the beach beautiful with warm waves
Don't Miss: rianforest
Colon, Panama
rianforest beautiful San Lorezo fort breathtaking. Interesting Panama Canal
