The port itseof was meh. We booked Cave Tubing with Butts up and that was amazing! Checked another item off my bucket list! The vendors at the market right outside port are pretty pushy.

Belize is one of those ports that I could take or leave. While it’s beautiful you have to take a tender in from the ships which are typically 15 minutes from the actually pier and maybe more. I don’t feel like there is much to do in Belize but it seems like we’re always rushed and worried about missing the tender back to the ship so I spend my time in worry mode. It’s not like Grand Cayman where it’s just a short ride to the ship.

Left the ship and went to starfish island for the day. Nice little island very clean and friendly staff but food wasn’t that great and snorkeling wasn’t good at all. Left there and had time to tender into town not a very nice place. Small port not very clean nothing but junk shops.

We’ve enjoyed ATV/cave tubing through Butts Up as well as venturing to Caye Caulker. Had a blast with Butts Up - if you’re looking for adventure, we highly recommend (the amazing tamale lunch afterwards is the icing on the cake). Caye Caulker is gorgeous and worth the trek. We did the snorkel and lunch tour and our whole group loved it.

We did the starfish island excursion here and loved it. We have been to this port before and hated it so we decided to do an excursion and was very pleased

We did the shark, rays and snorkeling tour through Carnival. It was absolutely incredible!! The boat ride to Caye Caulker was around 45 minutes. It was nothing special. They passed around a clipboard to preorder lunch. Caye Caulker is such a beautiful and fun island. I love the atmosphere! Swimming with the sharks and rays was the coolest experience ever. The guides were great and we were able to spend plenty of time in the water. We didnt spend much time in Port, just a short time wandering around the shops.

We enjoyed the shuttle boat ride to and from the ship as these shuttles were not overloaded and far better than using ships life boats as we have done before. Ride seemed short and smooth! Excursion was to the rum factory with a unique tour of the City with a fantastic tour guide (Shelley - very knowledgeable and entertaining) despite the rough ride on the old school buses. I understand the transportation due to narrow streets.
