Ferried to Belize from the boat about 30 min out. to preserve the surrounding reef. The entire process was organized well by both port and cruise line. The port restrooms were closed and caused chaos for some arriving guests (such as myself). Lots of trinket and souvenir shopping at port. Other that that there isn’t much there. Definitely book an excursion with a small group or private guide for this port.

We booked a private excursion to zip line and cave tubing. Awesome but be prepared for an hour ride to get there and back. You see the countries true culture driving the roads.

This is the place to do a snorkeling or diving excursion. The city itself is not very nice at all. If you are not into that then consider staying on board the Liberty and enjoy having the ship to yourself.

Went to Starfish Island. We’ve been before and liked the upgrade to the area. Disappointed in the limited area to snorkel.

Had fun shopping. The boat ride over and back was well run. Not much else to do unless you do an excursion.

It was so hard to get off the ship. There was bad weather the day we were at port. They tender people who book excursions with Royal Caribbean first. It’s about a 15-20 minute tender. We didn’t make it off the ship until almost 10:15. We had a blast on our excursion- zip lining and cave tubing.
