Beautiful city. We did a tour of the city on a bus. It was very interesting to learn the history and a lot about the people and culture. They certainly rely on tourism for their economy.

Took small plane to San Pedro and did dive/snorkeling with Ambegriss Dive. Swam with sharks. Absolutely the best time!!!

I have a problem when I get too hot and yes it was too hot for me so I wasn't able to explore much. But we did sit at a great little bar called The Wet Lizard.

Really really enjoyed experiencing the Mayan ruins! Went to the beach afterwards which was beautiful but we did have a slight problem with sand fleas… other than that we loved Belize!

Very busy port and many excursions available. We chose to do a cave tubing excursion and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend it.

The tender ride to and from Belize City is both annoying and necessary because of the depth of the waters. The cruise port is stuffed with shops that are designed to separate tourists from their cash. I was warned about leaving the port because of harassment and uncertainty about thieves. The bar at the tender port was worth the visit. Ice cold beer, and great music. There is time to strike up an interesting conversation with fellow tender passengers.
