Second time to visit Belize. First time was 13 years ago. We did the cave tubing then with our kids and really enjoyed it. This last trip was just my husband and myself and we took a boat to Goff’s Caye and relaxed on the beach and took a guided snorkeling tour from the island. They took us out just a little ways and we snorkeled back to the beach area. It ranks #2 for snorkeling for us with Roatan Honduras in first place. While we loved the snorkeling better in Roatan we loved the seclusion on the Goff’s Caye better than Little French key and will continue to take this same excursion when we visit Belize again.

Was a very interesting port. It was very crowded when I was there but it was very fun atmosphere. This was also a very gorgeous place and the vendors were not pushy.

Don't turn down the bug spray here! See the Myan ruins if you have the chance.

We did the Lamanai excursion. It was not overly crowded, well paced and informative. I truly enjoyed it and there is an opportunity to go to the top of the highest pyramid.

We did the Altun Ha tour. It was great! Bus ride was comfy. Our guide was Shanika. She was funny and informative. The guide at Altun Ha was Frederick, who was also excellent. Highly recommend this excursion!

We did the Mayan Palaces of Cahal Pech - BE99 excursion and this was perhaps one of the best adventures we have ever done with a cruise ship. We enjoyed it because we were not rushed at the ruins, we were the only tour during our time block and it was a small group tour. It was a slow paced tour which allowed us to really enjoy the sights.

I had been wanting to go here for years! Its an interesting port... It had the BEST shopping of all the ports on this trip! Instead of a preplaned excursion I did a taxi tour. Some places seemed a little sketchy BUT well worth touring! The rum factory was nice and I got to take a photo with the Belize sign. The taxi driver was very nice and informative. Also, got to eat at a local (non tourist) resturant. BEST jerk chicken ever...and I also tried conch curry with cilantro rice... Definitely will go to this port again one day.

Got on the tender late so we stayed in the port area, shopping & drinking, some members of our group did some tours. Will be back in a week so will do some tours then

Definitely plan an excursion when going to Belize, if not then plan on shopping and drinking because there is nothing else. No beach, unless you go on an excursion.

The pyramids were beautiful and the guides entertaining. If it rains it’s a good thing, it helps keep things cooler.
