Port area fairly typical Caribbean port. People friendly. Good excursion to underground river cave float trip.

We did a cave excursion and it was amazing. I recommend it if you like caves. We tubed threw the cave the water was crystal clear, we also saw bats above us and no there wasn't any danger as we flowed the caves.

We did the Altun HA Ancient Mayan Ruins excursion. It was a lot of history, very informative. Make sure you have bug spray.
