We went to the Mayan Ruins with a private guide. He was so knowledgeable! Ate at a local Creole Restaurant. Excellent day.

Port seemed a little sketchy. We didn't do any excursions, just walked around. Felt a little uneasy being there.

We did ziplining with a Crystal Cave tour an Elvis our tour guide was the best tour guide that I have ever had great time I highly recommend it especially if you can get all this to be your tour guide

PLEASE stay on the ship if no excursion! My group had none and we didn’t even last over two hours. The port has a decent amount of souvenir shops with only a couple restaurants. People left in right, second after second, will hold signs asking you to buy a Mayan ruins tour or other excursions. I wouldn’t go. Just make it a skip and make it a better day by having a quieter sea day. Trust me, you’ll thank me later!

The Lamani Ruins were beautiful! We saw and heard the Howling Monkeys, Toucans and Iguanas everywhere! It rained as we climbed the ruins and it was still beautiful

Cave tubing and zipline is a must! So fun! Next time I'd love to see some of the Mayan Ruins though!

We did not have an enjoyable day here, unfortunately. We booked a cave tubing tour. We were told the bus ride there would be 45 minutes to 1 hour - it was actually an hour and a half. With younger kids we would have definitely chosen something else if we had known beforehand. Then we were told the time in the cave would be an hour - it was 25 minutes. So, 3 hours on a bus for 25 minutes in the cave. I wouldn't do it again, sadly. I wanted to love this excursion but it just wasn't what we were sold. 😔 Additionally, the food wasn't very good and it was way too crowded. The cave part of it was nice, just too short for that looong bus ride and of our family of 5, only 2 headlamps were working properly. It just wasn't our day that day!!! 🤣
