Must do the cave tubing and the zip lines thru the jungles. We booked thru Island Marketing and our tour guide Sham was the best, very personal. Learned a lot of history about Belize.

Did an excursion with the cruise line and went to Myan Ruins and took an amazing tour down the river getting to see a ton of different wildlife. Our tour guide was great and so were the guys on the boat pointing out the animals. Definitely got our money worth. Fredrick was our tour guide at the ruins and he knew so much, well educated and completely willing and able to answer all our questions. Also our tour guide was a local (we drove through her neighborhood) she was amazing. Knew everything, was easy to understand and gave above and beyond as a tour guide.

No ship excursion, but we liked the port and took a local two hour city tour. Much cheaper than the one offered by the ship and saw more.

Highly recommend the Belize cave tubing with lunch tour offered through Carnival. Very cool experience that is not too physically demanding. Our family of 5 ranging from 14-70 all enjoyed this one! Very tasty caribbean lunch, especially if you pair it with a local beer :)

This was the best. At first I thought that the hour and a half bus ride would be boring, but Alvaro, our guide, made it seem like 5 minutes with his narrative during our drive. He gave us very interesting history and information about the area, with his charm, wit and humor he was very entertaining, not to mention handsome!

Our entire group of 15 took the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins & Scenic River Cruise excursion. This was fantastic. The ruins were awesome and the river boat cruse was just fantastic. You'll really enjoy this excursion.

Took the Ten Best of Belize tour—it was very good. We got to see a lot of the city - museum, cathedral, beach, lunch etc. enjoyed it and learned a lot.

Friendly locals and tons of offers for discounts. I did not do an excursion but I got my hair braided by locals and they were done in less than 5 minutes which is impressive since my hair is extremely long and thick.
