Did not like like this port. Had an excursion to see the monkeys and the tour guide was horrible. Wished we had stayed on the boat. Would never go back.

We tendered to port to get passports stamped. Only port that felt "unsafe." I was not impressed...plus raining that morning did nothing for the view.

We did an excursion with cabetubing.bz and it was awesome. We zip lined and tubed. Should have picked one or the other (tubing) because with this outfit you get to tube more caves if you are just tubing alone. Really need an excursion here because they're no beaches to enjoy on this side of belize and the shopping is just ok. Cavetubing.bz rocks because they have the tubes right at the river so you don't have to carry them. They also give you a longer tour for your money with more caves.

If you do not book an excursion at this port don't even bother getting off the ship. There are literally two restaurants and about a dozen shops to buy overpriced souvenirs within 2 block section that you cant leave without a tour guide. Book an excursion or stay on the boat and enjoy the peace a quiet.

Really enjoyed the vibrancy at the dock. Good shopping and by all means visit the little restaurant Beliezian Breezes. Good food and entertainment. Reasonably priced. We don't recommend the boat tour up the Belieze river. We saw very little wildlife, a bit boring.

We didn't do a formal excursion at this destination. I wanted to see the city, so instead we went right outside the terminal gates and had a taxi take us on a tour of the city. Very nice people and very fun!
