Review summary

We enjoyed our first cruise. Although I wish the pools were larger or at least a pool for kids to actually get to swim and play in - these seemed to ALL be adult only pools with only people standing in them. Food was good and a large variety of things to eat. Our cabin was always very clean. Nightly shows were great with amazing singers and dancers!!

I’m a single mom traveling with a 13 yr old and 11 yr old. Every activity on board was 18 yr old and up (dance contest etc). It was our 1st cruise so my girls weren’t comfortable going to the kids club alone - maybe if they had they would’ve enjoyed it a little more. Pools were entirely too crowded and seemed to be for adults only - everyone was simply standing in the pools with drinks in their hands so children could not get in the pools and play at all.

Our room steward and waiters were very good. I did however have an employee from the guest services desk act rude when I asked a question about my excursion. Granted I did not book a Carnival excursion but I was simply asking were to meet the next day to get off of the ship and she said “I don’t know anything about that” and turned her back. Really?!?!? I did find someone else later that day that explained everything very well
