Apart from the sea being a bit rough for my liking , the crew made us feel relaxed with their never ending smiles . We went On the hop on hop off bus . Ittook us round the main area.

Beautiful port. Walk up to the university and gardens. It’s worth the stroll. Stop by their churches and the castle is near the ship. Victor Hugo’s home was there, too, although you can’t go inside. Oh, don’t forget to stop for tea and scones near the harbor to enjoy the view.

My favorite port! We did an excursion through Viator and had the best tour guide who was a native. We learned about the German invasion during WW2. I would love to go back!

Spend a day walking. If you want to see Victor Hugo's home, make a reservation ahead of time or it won't happen. You can still see the gardens and this is worth it!
