The port was a bit far from the city, but again; if you anticipate on this, you can just enjoy the ride by looking arround.

We went in small group tour to the Cu Chi tunnels - no crowds and very memorable experience, including crawling through a short section of the tunnels.

This port was 1.5 hours from the city! That is too far. We had an arranged private tour with the same group which was very good.

This was a good port also and our excursion was a small group of 3 couples and a driver and a guide taking us out to the Mekong Delta and cruising the river and back water ways.

We did not take the excursion into Ho Chi Minh City but instead took the side trip into Vung Tao which we really enjoyed.

Visit Ho Chi Minh City & Notre Dame Cathedral. Also visit former Presidential Palace, now Reunification Hall and perhaps a lacquer ware workshop
