Took transportation only excursion from ship and roamed Saigon on our own. Easy to get around; very enjoyable.

Same as Bangkok, It’s a container port that is 4km to the main road and not safe to walk so it’s a taxi or stay on board.

Did the Cho Chi Tunnel excursion. Very informative as well for those interested in Vietnam War history. Crawling through the tunnels was quite interesting but you need to be physically fit.

Commercial port 2 hours by bus from the city. So filthy once you leave the port grounds. We did the ships excursion and did not get to all the attractions we should have. Very rushed as 4hours are taken up by during there and back.
