Sort of a dumpy town but we hired a van on shore with 8 other people at $25 apiece to take us to a resort and it was a long drive but turned out to be the perfect blue lagoon for swimming and laying on the beach. The way you have imagined Fiji to be.

Gorgeous place. Again we hired a taxi for the day. He took us to a 5 star resort where we were able to use their facilities for the day. Went paddle boarding and on a jet ski and then relaxed with cocktails

The thermal mud pool excursion was an enjoyable adventure. Bring/wear older clothes than can get dirty or don't mind throwing out afterwards. Feel free to bring a camera. The staff can take photos for you.

Very picturesque port to visit. Scenery seen when arriving & at sailaway is magical. If you want to snorkel. You can save yourself a lot of money by going to bekana island for $50 and you choose when you want to return to your ship. A great little island to relax and for the price the snorkeling is quite good. Downside is they only offer 2 Indian dishes lunch for $30/35 if you are into that kind of food.

Firstly, I love Fiji and it’s people. I enjoyed the Duty free shopping we did, and I loved the cultural experience, the bus ride through that great Country, and watching the Sugar train go by during a pit stop.

Good markets to shop at. Didn't book an excursion, we just chose one of the MANY people trying to get you to do an excursion with them. Paid $25 per person for the whole day of roaming around which was great! Got taken sight seeing and then too a resort for food, drinks and swimming. Then taken to a couple of shopping malls before going back to the ship. Fijian people are soook friendly. "Bula" being called from everywhere. I did not enjoy being in the city. Lots of hustling!
