Review summary

I loved everything about the cruise, and it was my best cruise ever.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very well organised, and we didn’t have to wait long to board the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I wasn’t too keen on the meal at the Stake house; but the rest of the meals were delicious.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I loved the ships pools and all the facilities; especially the sky walkers night club!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Nick Nickolas (the Entertainer / juggler / comedian was amazing and I loved his show time performance. It just would’ve been good to know (before each Princess Theatre show) if I can save seats for my family or not.

Children's Programs

I don’t have kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very professional, and I loved the cruise directors were all involved with everything the passengers did right up until the end; Corey (the main cruise director) was there to say goodbye to us as we left. It was a family cruise, and all the ships crew were so good with my sisters kids.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was our third cruise with the Princess line, and all preferred the Golden Princess over (our last ship) the Dawn because it was a lot smoother, and it ran better in rough weather.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfy, and very cosy. The beds were so soft, and the cabin was always clean.

Ship tip

Enjoy everything on the ship. It’s beautiful, big and perfect

Ports of call

Melbourne, Australia Did not visit port

Because that’s were I live

Mare Isle, Loyalty Islands, New Caledonia

5 out of 5
It was a beautiful day for us to visit Yejele Beach together. The water was so clear, and it was a fantastic snorkeling destination.

Port Vila, Efate, Vanuatu

4 out of 5
Very well organised, and informative. I enjoyed the cultural experience, and I loved feeding the wild fish during snorkeling part of the Ifira Island visit.

Lautoka, Fiji Islands

5 out of 5
Firstly, I love Fiji and it’s people. I enjoyed the Duty free shopping we did, and I loved the cultural experience, the bus ride through that great Country, and watching the Sugar train go by during a pit stop.

Suva, Fiji

5 out of 5
I love Suva. I tried Cava. Our tour guide was pretty interesting. I enjoyed the nature walk around the gardens. I loved the Fijian cultural experience, and the departure; with the Military band playing the ship off as it sailed away despite the rain.

Noumea, New Caledonia

3 out of 5
I loved the tribal dance the local people did at the wharf as the ship docked. However, we were late leaving the Princess theatre for our excursion, and there wasn’t much time to explore Noumea through the ‘hop on hop off bus’ before returning back to the ship for the trip back to Melbourne.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Getting off the ship was fine; but we needed help with getting our Luggage to the end of the pier and there were no trolleys available.
