Really interesting botanical garden and city tour. Walked through a lively market. Husband’s tour to a Zulu village was very touristy but the guide was informative about life in South Africa.

We stayed 3 more nights in Durban. We made an excursion to Hluhluwe Park, which we loved. The trip to the park is long, but the park with the wildlife made was worthwhile.

Durban city tour in rain was not terrific. Also in traffic. Valley of the thousand Hills interesting, but too staged.

Took the shuttle to an out of town shopping area. we were able from here able to catch a local bus that took in 3 different routes to get an overview of the city. No hop on off bus here.
